What our online Quran classes for kids look like
Each class is a live 30-minute video lesson between your child and their own teacher, over Zoom, Google Meet or Skype. The teacher shares the lesson page on screen, listens to your child read, and corrects each letter and sound as it happens. Nobody else is in the class, so there is nowhere to hide a mistake and no waiting for a turn.
Beginners start with Noorani Qaida (letters and sounds), move on to reading the Quran with Tajweed, and can continue to memorisation. Most families choose two or three classes a week at a fixed time after school or at the weekend.
Teachers who are patient with young learners
Teaching a six-year-old is a different skill from teaching an adult. Children are placed with teachers who have experience with young learners and who know when to slow down, repeat, or simply encourage. Every teacher is interviewed and assessed before teaching, and all of them teach in clear English.
Prefer a female teacher for your daughter? Just say so when you book and we will match her from the very first class. The price is the same for male and female teachers.
- Qualified male and female teachers experienced with children
- Clear English with gentle, consistent correction
- The same teacher every week so trust can build
- Female teacher available on request at no extra cost
Is my child actually learning? You can see for yourself
You are welcome to sit in on any class, any time, without notice. After lessons the teacher shares short feedback on what was covered and what to practise, and you receive regular progress updates as your child completes each stage of the curriculum.
If something is not working — the pace, the time slot, the teacher — tell us and we adjust. We would rather change the plan than lose your child's momentum.
Classes that fit around school
Because our teachers work across time zones, after-school, evening and weekend slots are available for families in the USA, UK, Canada and Australia. Your slot stays fixed each week, and if a class clashes with an exam or a trip, let us know in advance and we will reschedule it.
- Fixed weekly time slot chosen by you
- Reschedule with notice — no lost lesson
- Siblings can be scheduled back to back
- Family discount for more than one child
Quran and Islamic Studies together
Many parents want their child to learn more than reading. Our Islamic Studies for Kids course covers daily duas, how to pray, basic beliefs, stories of the Prophets and good manners, and can be taken alongside Quran reading or on alternate days.

Frequently asked questions
Is a 30-minute class long enough for a child?
Yes. Thirty minutes of one-to-one attention is far more productive than an hour in a group, and it matches most children's attention spans. Families who want faster progress simply add more classes per week rather than longer classes.
My child is shy on video calls. Will that be a problem?
It is very common. Teachers keep the first classes light and encouraging, and many parents sit beside their child for the first week. Most children settle within a few lessons once they know the teacher.
Do you teach children who already read a little?
Yes. The first trial class includes a level check, so a child who already knows the letters or reads slowly will start at the right point rather than repeating the beginning.
Can two of my children share one class?
We recommend separate classes so each child gets full attention and progresses at their own pace. We can schedule them back to back and apply a family discount.
What if my child does not like the teacher?
Tell us and we will arrange a different teacher, during the trial or later, at no cost. A good match matters more to us than keeping the original assignment.
