Why choose our online Quran classes?

Every class at Online Quran Lessons is one-to-one. The teacher shares the lesson page on screen, the student reads, and mistakes are corrected the moment they happen. There is no group to wait behind and no camera-off passenger seat — each lesson is built around one learner's level and pace.

Our teachers are assessed on their recitation, Tajweed and teaching manner before they meet a student. Families choose a male or female teacher, and the same teacher stays with the student week after week so trust and routine can build.

  • Live one-to-one classes over Zoom, Google Meet or Skype
  • Qualified male and female teachers who teach in clear English
  • 3 free trial classes before you commit to anything
  • Fixed weekly slots in US, UK, Canadian and Australian time zones
  • Parents can sit in on any class; progress reports after each stage

What will you learn in our online Quran classes?

Complete beginners start with Noorani Qaida: the Arabic letters, their sounds and how they join. From there students move to reading the Quran with Tajweed, then choose a specialisation such as Hifz (memorisation), Tafseer, Quranic Arabic or Islamic Studies.

Students who already read are placed at the right point in the curriculum after a short assessment in the trial class, so nobody repeats what they already know.

  • Noorani Qaida — letters, harakat, joining and first words
  • Quran reading with Tajweed — fluent, accurate recitation
  • Hifz — structured memorisation with daily revision
  • Islamic Studies — duas, Salah, Seerah, manners and beliefs

How a class works

At the scheduled time the teacher and student join the class link. The teacher opens the digital Qaida or mushaf and shares the screen; the student reads aloud while the teacher listens, corrects and explains. Each lesson ends with a short recap and a small practice task for the next class.

Classes are 30 minutes by default (longer sessions are available for Hifz and adult learners) and can be recorded on request so students can revise at home.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Are online Quran classes effective for children?
Yes, when they are one-to-one and consistent. A private teacher can hear and correct every letter, which is difficult in a group setting. Short 30-minute lessons two to five times a week keep young students engaged without tiring them.
Which app do you use for classes?
Zoom, Google Meet or Skype — whichever is easiest for you. We send the link before the first class and help you set it up.
Can I choose a female teacher?
Yes. Tell us your preference when you book and we will match a female teacher from the very first trial class. The fee is the same.
How much do online Quran classes cost?
Monthly plans start from $39 for two classes a week. See the pricing page for 3, 4 and 5-day plans in USD, GBP, CAD and AUD. There is no registration fee.
