What Hifz Course covers
The Quran Memorization (Hifz) Course is a structured program for committing the Quran to memory, whether in part or in full, under the daily supervision of a qualified hafiz or hafizah. Each student receives a personal memorization plan based on their available time, reading level, and goal. Classes follow the time-tested three-part cycle: sabaq (the new lesson), sabqi (recent lessons), and manzil (long-term revision).
New memorization is only half the work; keeping it is the other half. That is why every class dedicates protected time to revision, and why your teacher tracks retention scores for every juz you hold. If a portion weakens, the plan automatically routes it back into the sabqi cycle before it fades. This layered approach is how traditional hifz schools produce huffaz whose memorization lasts a lifetime.
Students may pursue full hifz over several years, or set a defined target such as Juz Amma, Surah Al-Kahf, or the last three juz. Parents of young memorizers receive weekly reports covering new pages, revision quality, and tajweed accuracy, so the whole family can support the journey at home.

Hifz Course: common questions
How long does it take to memorise the whole Quran online?
Most dedicated students complete full hifz in three to five years with five classes per week and daily home revision. Part-time students take longer, and that is perfectly fine. Your teacher builds the timeline around your pace rather than forcing a fixed schedule.
What are sabaq, sabqi, and manzil?
They are the three layers of the daily hifz cycle. Sabaq is the new lesson memorised today, sabqi is the recent lessons from the past few days, and manzil is older material revised on a rotating schedule. Together they ensure new memorization grows while old memorization never fades.
Can I memorise only certain surahs instead of the full Quran?
Yes, partial hifz is fully supported. Many students target Juz Amma, Surah Al-Kahf, Surah Yaseen, or the last three juz. Your plan, revision cycle, and completion assessment are simply scaled to the portion you choose, using the same method as full hifz.
Does my child need to read fluently before starting hifz?
Fluent reading with sound tajweed basics is strongly recommended, because errors memorised early are hard to remove later. If your child is not yet fluent, we begin with the Quran Reading with Tajweed course and transition into hifz as soon as their reading is ready.
