Many families in the UK, USA, Canada and Europe speak Urdu at home, yet their children understand far more than they can say, and most cannot read a single line. This course closes that gap. A private Urdu-speaking teacher works with one student at a time, starting from the alphabet and building towards confident reading, neat handwriting and everyday conversation.
Lessons are short and practical. Children trace and write letters on screen, read simple words aloud, and use the language straight away — talking about their day, their family and their school. Older students and adults move faster, focusing on reading newspapers, writing letters and speaking with relatives without switching to English.
Because the Urdu script shares most of its letters with Arabic, students who learn Urdu often find the Noorani Qaida easier, and the other way round. Many families pair this course with Quran reading so both happen with the same academy and the same timetable.
