Adults learn differently — and privately

Most adults who contact us have one worry: being embarrassed. In a one-to-one class there is no group, no comparison and no judgement. Your teacher hears you read, corrects gently, and moves at your speed. Many adults choose audio-only lessons, which work just as well for recitation.

Whatever your starting point

Some adults never learned the letters. Others read but were never corrected and want proper Tajweed. Others read fluently and want to understand meaning through Arabic or Tafseer, or to begin memorising. The first free class includes a relaxed level check so you start in the right place.

  • Complete beginners: Noorani Qaida to Quran reading
  • Intermediate: Quran reading with Tajweed correction
  • Advanced: Tajweed rules, Tafseer, Hifz
  • Reverts: everything explained from the beginning in clear English

Classes around work, kids and commutes

Early mornings before work, lunch breaks, late evenings once the children are asleep, weekend mornings — our teachers cover all of them across US, UK, Canadian and Australian time zones. Classes are 30 minutes, so they fit into a real day, and you can reschedule with notice when life gets in the way.

Women can choose a female teacher

Adult women who prefer a female teacher can request one when booking. Our female teachers cover the full range from beginner reading to Hifz, and the price is the same.

Frequently asked questions

I learned as a child but forgot most of it. Where do I start?

Very common. The level check in your first class will show what has stuck. Most returning readers skip part of the Qaida and start with guided Quran reading and Tajweed correction.

Can I take classes on my phone during a break?

Yes. A phone with Zoom, Google Meet or Skype and a quiet spot is enough. Many adult students take a 30-minute class on a lunch break.

How many classes a week do adults usually take?

Two or three is the most common for working adults. Hifz students often take five. You can change your plan month to month.

Do you teach adult beginners with no Islamic background?

Yes. New Muslims are welcome and teachers explain terms in plain English rather than assuming prior knowledge.

Will I get a certificate?

Students receive a completion certificate for each course they finish. Advanced students can ask about ijazah after completing the Tajweed course.
