We are Online Quran Lessons, one of the seven academies below, so read this page knowing that. It is a selection of seven, not every academy online. Nobody paid to be included, and we list ourselves first only because this is our site — the right academy depends on your child, your budget and your timetable.

Every price and policy was read from each academy's own website on 23 October 2026, and every rating from Trustpilot on the same day. Prices change, so check the academy's own page before you pay. Where an academy does not publish something, the table says so rather than guessing.

What a lesson really costs

An open Quran with Arabic script

Monthly prices are hard to compare because plans count lessons differently. Worked out per lesson from the cheapest and the largest published plans:

  • Online Quran Lessons (us): $7.50 down to $2.95 per 30-minute lesson — the lowest per-lesson price of the academies here that publish full prices
  • eQuranSchool: $4.63 down to $3.70 per 30-minute lesson, with 20% off for each extra sibling
  • TarteeleQuran: $5.00 down to $4.40 per 30-minute lesson, plus a one-time registration fee
  • QuranHost: $4.63 down to $3.95 per lesson (plan lesson length not stated)
  • IQRA Network: $12–$17 an hour, so about $6–$8.50 for 30 minutes
  • Al-Dirassa: from €29.70 a month for one hour a week; Qutor: the tutor's own rate plus a 20% platform fee (minimum $1)

Who each one may suit

Illustration of male and female Quran teachers

A fair one-line summary of each — including where we fall short.

  • Online Quran Lessons (us): named teachers with their qualifications, a female supervisor in every class, male or female at the same fee, from $30 a month and a 7-day money-back guarantee. Our weak point today: only 2 Trustpilot reviews so far.
  • eQuranSchool: a long track record (since 2008) and a generous 20% sibling discount; plans start at 2 classes a week.
  • TarteeleQuran: a monthly progress report and payment options such as Zelle; note the registration fee and that fees are not refunded after the first session.
  • QuranHost: the longest track record here (since 2012) and the highest Trustpilot score; 10% off for each extra sibling.
  • IQRA Network: hourly billing, an academic coach and a parent dashboard, with by far the most Trustpilot reviews.
  • Al-Dirassa Institute: suits teens, adults and families in Europe who want euro pricing and a same-gender teacher.
  • Qutor: for parents who want to interview and pick a tutor themselves; quality depends on the tutor you choose.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which online Quran academy is the best?
There is no single best one. For a young child, look first at who is in the lesson, whether you can choose the teacher, and the cost per lesson — then let the free trials decide.
Why is your own academy on this list?
Because parents compare us with these academies anyway. We used the same checks on everyone, us included, and we show where others are ahead — for example, they have far more Trustpilot reviews than we do today.
Are these prices still correct?
They were correct on each academy's website on 23 October 2026. Prices and policies change, so always check the academy's own page before you pay.
What do your classes cost?
Plans start at $30 a month (£24, €28) for 4 one-to-one classes, with no registration fee and all materials included. Siblings get a 10% family discount from the second child, and the first 3 classes are free.
