We message you to agree a day and time in your own time zone, ask whether you want a male or a female teacher, and send the class link. The first 3 classes are free, no card is taken at any point, and there is nothing to cancel if you decide not to continue.

A qualified teacher who stays the same every week, so your child is not starting again with somebody new every month. You choose male or female when you book — the fee is identical either way — and if your child does not settle with that teacher, tell us and we will move them at no cost. Classes are supervised for teaching quality.

Yes, any lesson, without telling us first. Many parents sit beside their child for the first few classes and then listen from the next room. If you would rather review a class afterwards, ask and the lesson can be recorded for you.

Most children start between 4 and 6, as soon as they can sit and focus for half an hour. There is no upper age — adults learn with us too, and every complete beginner, child or adult, starts on the same Noorani Qaida.

30 minutes, one-to-one. Most families take 2 or 3 classes a week; some take 5. Hifz students usually need longer sessions, which the teacher will discuss with you after hearing your child read.

Classes run seven days a week, and the most popular slots are before school, straight after school, and after Maghrib. You pick a time in your own time zone and it stays the same every week. If we cannot cover the time you need, we will tell you that before you commit to anything.

Tajweed is corrected inside every reading lesson rather than saved for a separate course later. Because the class is one-to-one, the teacher hears every letter your child says and fixes pronunciation on the spot, before it hardens into a habit.

The teacher tells you what was covered and what to practise, and you get a progress summary as your child moves through the course. Beyond that, the honest answer is that you will hear it — a child who could not read the Arabic letters in January reading a surah aloud in June is not a claim we need to make for you.

Each child gets their own one-to-one class so nobody is held back or rushed, but we schedule siblings back to back so it is one sitting for you. A family discount applies from the second child — mention how many are starting when you book.

A phone, tablet or laptop with a reasonable internet connection, and a free video app. Books and lesson materials are shared on screen, so there is nothing to buy or print before the first class.

We do not give a completion date before hearing a student read, and you should be careful of any academy that does. After the free classes the teacher will give you a realistic estimate based on your child's pace and how many lessons a week you take.

English. If you would prefer Urdu, ask when you book and we will try to arrange it, but English is what most children in the USA, UK, Canada and Australia follow best.

It is early but it is normal. Most children start between 4 and 6. At that age the first classes are short on reading and long on encouragement, and the teacher will tell you honestly if your child is not ready to sit for half an hour yet.

That is exactly the case one-to-one is for. There is no class of fifteen to be embarrassed in front of, no waiting for a turn, and nobody hears a mistake except the teacher. Shy children usually settle within two or three lessons.

Lessons are 30 minutes and no longer, the pace follows your child rather than a group, and Islamic Studies is taught as stories rather than lectures. The free classes exist so you can watch and judge this for yourself before paying anything.

It is a real lesson, not a sales call. The teacher greets your child, listens to them read so they can judge the level, and teaches a short lesson at that level. You are welcome to sit in.

Usually within a day or two, depending on the slot you want. If a teacher of the gender you asked for is not free at your preferred time, we will offer you a different time rather than a different kind of teacher.

Tell us during or after the trial and we will arrange somebody else for the remaining classes. It costs nothing and you do not need to justify it.
