About this course
The Quran Reading with Tajweed course teaches students to recite fluently from the mushaf while applying the essential rules of tajweed in practice. It is the natural next step after Noorani Qaida, and also suits anyone who can already read Arabic but stumbles, reads slowly, or is unsure about pronunciation. Each class is a live, one-on-one recitation session where the student reads and the teacher corrects immediately.
Rather than front-loading theory, this course teaches tajweed the way it has traditionally been passed on: by listening and repeating. Rules such as ghunnah, qalqalah, and the main madd lengths are introduced briefly, then reinforced hundreds of times through guided reading. Students begin with Juz Amma, where verses are short and familiar, and steadily work through longer passages as fluency grows.
Progress is tracked page by page, and many students choose to complete a full reading of the Quran with their teacher, a milestone often celebrated as a khatm. Along the way, reading speed, accuracy, and confidence improve together, and common habits like skipping vowels or flattening heavy letters are corrected before they become permanent.

Course FAQs
I can read Arabic slowly. Is this course right for me, or should I start with Qaida?
If you can sound out words on your own, even slowly, this course is the right fit. Your teacher runs a short placement reading in the first class, and if a few Qaida topics need refreshing, they are folded into your early lessons rather than sending you back to the start.
How much tajweed theory is taught in this course?
Only the essentials, taught in practice rather than as lectures. You will learn rules like ghunnah, qalqalah, and madd by applying them during recitation. Students who later want detailed theory, terminology, and the full rule system can continue into our Advanced Tajweed Course.
How long until I can read the Quran fluently?
Most students reach comfortable fluency within six to twelve months of regular classes. The biggest factors are class frequency and daily reading practice of even ten minutes. Your teacher sets page-by-page targets so you can see measurable progress every month.
Can I complete a full khatm of the Quran with my teacher?
Yes, completing a full corrected reading is a core goal of Level 3. You and your teacher agree on a weekly page target, and every verse you read is checked live. Many students finish their first supervised khatm within one to two years of starting the course.
