  • Private 1-to-1 lessons

Your child and their teacher, nobody else. No waiting for a turn to read, and every mistake is heard.

  • Qualified male & female teachers

Choose who teaches at booking. The fee is the same, and you can change teacher at any time, free.

  • Flexible scheduling

Before school, after school, evenings or weekends — seven days a week, in your own time zone.

  • Progress you can see

The teacher tells you what was covered and what to practise, with regular progress updates.

  • Child-focused teaching

Short, varied activities for young learners, lots of encouragement and patience with shy readers.

  • Quran + Islamic Studies

Qaida, reading, Tajweed and Hifz, plus salah, duas, Seerah and manners — all with one academy.

Inside a lesson

A real teacher who hears every word your child reads

Apps and videos can show a child the letters. Only a teacher can listen, notice the mistake and fix it before it becomes a habit.

  1. 1. Join your live class

Open the link on a laptop, tablet or phone. Your teacher is already there, and the lesson page is shared on screen.

  2. 2. Read and interact

Your child reads aloud for most of the lesson — not watching a video, but talking with a real person who responds.

  3. 3. Correction and feedback

Every letter is heard and fixed on the spot, and you are told what was covered and what to practise.

Your choice of teacher

Male or female teacher — you decide

Tell us your preference when you book. If a teacher of that gender is not free at your time, we offer a different time — never a different kind of teacher.

The difference

Why one-to-one works better for most children

Group classes suit some families. For a child learning to read, being heard on every line makes the biggest difference.

Proof you can check

Judge us on the lessons, not on our claims

We are gathering reviews from the families who study with us and will publish them with their permission. Until then, here is how you can check everything yourself before paying.

  • Watch the trial lessons

Your first 3 classes are free and they are real lessons. Sit beside your child and judge the teaching yourself.

  • Sit in on any class

No notice or permission needed, at any point — not only during the trial.

  • Change teacher, free

If your child does not settle, tell us and we move them. You do not need to explain.

  • Money-back first month

Your first paid month has a 7-day money-back guarantee, and there is no contract after it.

For parents

Questions parents ask before booking

  • Will my child concentrate online?

Lessons are 30 minutes and one-to-one, so there is no class to drift away from. Teachers switch activities and keep your child reading aloud.

  • Can I choose a female teacher?

Yes. Tell us when you book. The fee is the same for male and female teachers.

  • Can classes fit around school?

Classes run seven days a week — before school, after school, evenings and weekends, in your time zone.

  • What if the teacher isn't suitable?

Tell us and we change the teacher, free, with no explanation needed.

  • Can I watch my child's class?

Any lesson, any time, without notice. Lessons can also be recorded on request.

  • Can complete beginners join?

Yes. Beginners start with Noorani Qaida from the very first letter — children from about age 4, and adults too.

  • What if we miss a class?

Let us know in advance and we reschedule it. If a class can't be moved, ask for the recording.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does the free trial actually work?
You give us a WhatsApp number and tell us who the classes are for. We message you to agree a day and time in your own time zone, ask whether you want a male or a female teacher, and send the class link. The first 3 classes are free, no card is taken at any point, and there is nothing to cancel if you decide not to continue.
What does it cost?
Plans start at $39 a month (£30, C$56, A$62) for 8 one-to-one classes, and go up to 20 classes a month. There is no registration fee and no charge for materials. The full table is on the fees page — you do not have to give us your number to see a price.
What if we want to stop?
There is no contract and no minimum term. Fees are monthly and paid in advance, so stopping means telling us before the next month starts. Your first paid month is also covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee, and nothing at all is paid during the free trial.
What do we need at home?
A phone, tablet or laptop with a reasonable internet connection, and a free video app. Books and lesson materials are shared on screen, so there is nothing to buy or print before the first class.
How will I know it is working?
The teacher tells you what was covered and what to practise, and you get a progress summary as your child moves through the course. Beyond that, the honest answer is that you will hear it — a child who could not read the Arabic letters in January reading a surah aloud in June is not a claim we need to make for you.
Can siblings learn together?
Each child gets their own one-to-one class so nobody is held back or rushed, but we schedule siblings back to back so it is one sitting for you. A family discount applies from the second child — mention how many are starting when you book.
How long will it take to finish?
We do not give a completion date before hearing a student read, and you should be careful of any academy that does. After the free classes the teacher will give you a realistic estimate based on your child's pace and how many lessons a week you take.
Which languages do you teach in?
English. If you would prefer Urdu, ask when you book and we will try to arrange it, but English is what most children in the USA, UK, Canada and Australia follow best.
