Evenings & weekends, your time zone
For parents
Is my child actually learning to read the Quran?
In a weekend class of fifteen children, a shy child can go a whole year without anyone hearing them read. Online one-to-one changes that: your child reads aloud in every lesson, the teacher hears every letter, and mistakes are fixed before they become habits.
At Online Quran Lessons, every class is live and private. Your child keeps the same teacher, follows a clear path from the Arabic alphabet to fluent reading with Tajweed, and you can see the progress for yourself — not just take our word for it.
- Same teacher every lesson
- Clear learning path with goals
- Sit in on any class
- Progress feedback after classes

Patient, qualified teachers
Teachers are interviewed, assessed on their recitation and Tajweed, and chosen for how well they work with children and nervous beginners.
Female or male teacher — your choice
Many parents prefer a female teacher for daughters and a male teacher for sons. Tell us your preference; the fee is the same.
Classes around school and work
Morning, after-school, evening and weekend slots in US, UK, Canadian and Australian time zones. Reschedule a missed class with notice.
You can see the progress
Sit in on any lesson, and get feedback after classes on what was covered, what's improving and what to practise next.
Quran and Islamic Studies together

The learning experience
Live lessons your child will look forward to
How a class works
At the agreed time your teacher calls on Zoom, Google Meet or Skype. The student reads, the teacher listens and corrects, and the lesson moves through the plan for that day — Qaida, Quran reading, Tajweed rules or memorization.
Made for children
Short 30-minute lessons, plenty of encouragement, revision games and small goals each week. Teachers who work with our youngest students are chosen specifically for their patience.
Parents stay in the loop
You're welcome to sit beside your child or watch quietly. After class you hear what was covered and what needs practice, and you can message us about the schedule or teacher at any time.

What families say about their classes
Both kids started with zero Arabic. Eight months in, my eldest reads short surahs on her own, and the progress notes keep me in the loop.
Aisha R.
Mother of two students · Texas, USA
I was embarrassed that I couldn't read properly at my age. One-to-one meant no judgement, just steady correction. Finishing my first juz with tajweed felt incredible.
Bilal H.
Adult student · Manchester, UK
My teacher tracks my sabaq and revision every class. I've memorised four juz in a year while working full time.
Mariam S.
Hifz student · Toronto, Canada
Time zones were my biggest worry. They found us a 7pm Sydney slot without fuss, and rescheduling around school exams has never been a problem.
Yusuf A.
Father of a student · Sydney, Australia
As a revert I needed everything explained from scratch in clear English. My teacher does exactly that, and the notes after each class really help.
Khadija N.
Adult student · Birmingham, UK
All three kids are enrolled and the family discount helps. Classes start on time, teachers communicate well, and the kids look forward to lessons.
Omar F.
Parent of three students · New Jersey, USA

Questions parents ask
Frequently asked questions
How do online Quran classes work?
Every class is a live, one-to-one video lesson with your own teacher on Zoom, Google Meet or Skype. The teacher shares the lesson page on screen, listens to your child read, and corrects each mistake as it happens. Classes are 30 minutes and run at fixed times you choose.
How does the free trial work?
You get 3 free trial classes with no card and no obligation. The first class includes a short level check so the teacher can place your child at the right starting point. After the trial you decide whether to continue on a monthly plan — nothing is charged unless you choose to.
Can I choose a female teacher?
Yes. We have qualified female teachers as well as male teachers. Tell us your preference when you book and we will match you from the first trial class. The price is the same either way.
How do I know my child is actually learning?
You are welcome to sit in on any class, and the teacher shares short feedback after lessons so you know what was covered and what to practise. You will also receive regular progress updates as your child moves through the curriculum.
Can classes fit around school and work?
Yes. Our teachers cover all time zones, so early mornings, after school, evenings and weekends are all available in the USA, UK, Canada and Australia. Your slot stays fixed each week so lessons become routine.
What happens if we miss a class?
Let us know in advance and we will reschedule the class for another time that week. We ask for notice where possible so the teacher's time is respected; genuine emergencies are always handled with understanding.
How much do classes cost?
Plans start from $39 per month (£30, C$56, A$62) for 8 one-to-one classes, with options up to 20 classes a month. There is no registration fee, and your first paid month is covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee. Family discounts are available for siblings.
