Books we teach from

The books our teachers use

From the first Qaida page to Hifz, Arabic and Islamic Studies: the books your child will learn from, stage by stage. All learning materials are included, so there is nothing extra to buy.

Read the Quran by para (juz)

Tap a para to read it right here on our site, in clear Uthmani Arabic (Madinah Mushaf) with page numbers. Use “Guide” for a short summary of what that para covers, or browse by surah.

First steps: the Qaida

For complete beginners, usually from age 4. Most children finish in 6–12 months.

Reading the Quran with Tajweed

Once the Qaida is done, children move on to the Mushaf itself.

  • The Mushaf (Indo-Pak or Uthmani script)

We use the script your child will see at home or at the masjid, usually the 13/15/16-line Indo-Pak style or the Madinah (Uthmani) Mushaf.

  • Colour-coded Tajweed Quran

Rules like ghunnah and madd are shown in colour on the page, so children spot them while they read.

  • Short surahs (Juz Amma)

The bridge from Qaida to Quran, and the surahs children need for salah.

Memorisation (Hifz)

45-minute classes for children who read fluently and want to memorise.

  • One fixed Mushaf

Hifz is done from one copy only, so the page layout stays in the child's memory.

Understanding the meaning

For older children, teenagers and parents.

  • Quran with English translation

Arabic text with a clear English meaning beside it.

  • Quran with Urdu translation

  • Madinah Arabic books 1–3

Translation and audio

The Arabic Quran is on our site above. For translations and recitation audio, this free source is reliable. For the other books, your child's teacher shares the pages in class.

Questions about the books

Do I need to buy any books?
No. All learning materials are included in the monthly fee. Your child's teacher tells you which book and page to use, and you are welcome to use a printed copy you already have at home.
Which book does a beginner start with?
Our teachers prefer Noorani Qaida for complete beginners. If your child has already started Madani Qaida or Qaida Usmani, the teacher can continue with that book instead.
Can you teach from the book my child uses at the masjid?
Yes. Tell us the book and the page your child has reached, and the teacher will carry on from there. The free trial classes are a good time to confirm where to start.
Which Mushaf do you use: Indo-Pak or Uthmani?
Either. Most families from South Asia use the Indo-Pak script, and many others use the Madinah (Uthmani) Mushaf. We teach in the script your child will read at home.
Are the classes taught in English or Urdu?
Both. Teachers explain in English or Urdu, whichever your child understands best.
