Teaching the Quran, one student at a time
Online Quran Lessons is an online academy that connects families with qualified Quran teachers for live, private, one-to-one classes. Most of our students are children and adults in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia — families who want a patient teacher, a clear plan and times that fit around school and work.
The academy began with a problem familiar to Muslim families living outside the Muslim world: a good, patient Quran teacher nearby is hard to find, and a weekend class of twenty children rarely produces confident readers. We pair each student with their own teacher and build every lesson around that student.
Our teachers include both men and women, many of them huffaz of the Quran, all of them assessed on recitation and Tajweed and on how they work with learners. Lessons are in clear English, with Arabic used for recitation.

How we teach
What happens behind every class
Teacher selection
Teachers are interviewed, assessed on their recitation and Tajweed, and observed teaching before they take students. Clear spoken English is a requirement.
Structured curriculum
Every student follows a clear path — Noorani Qaida, Quran reading with Tajweed, then memorization, Tafseer or Arabic — with goals set for each stage.
Class supervision
Classes run through the academy, parents can sit in at any time, and our team checks in on progress and handles scheduling, rescheduling and teacher changes.
Parent communication
You hear after classes what was covered and what to practise. Questions about schedule, fees or the teacher go straight to our support team on WhatsApp.
