The New Zealand school year runs in four terms from about February to mid-December, with two-week breaks between terms and a long summer holiday. Your slot carries on through the year; if you travel over the summer, classes can be paused and any unused balance carried to the next month. Ramadan currently falls in late summer, when sunset is late in Auckland, so class times can be moved to fit iftar and taraweeh.
English lessons for Auckland's many backgrounds
Auckland's Muslim families have roots in Fiji, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Somalia, the Arab world, Malaysia, Indonesia and beyond, and most children are most comfortable in English. Our teachers teach in clear English, with Arabic for the recitation. Urdu is also one of our teaching languages — ask for it when you book.
