For Muslim families in New York City and nearby
A qualified Quran teacher for your child, at home, with no subway ride or drive across the boroughs. Live one-on-one Quran, Tajweed and Hifz lessons from $39 a month.
In New York, an evening class across town can mean two trains, a transfer and an hour each way — after a full school day. Weekend Islamic school helps, but one teacher with a crowded room cannot hear every child read. Online classes remove the journey: your child logs in at home in Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Staten Island, Long Island or across the river in New Jersey, and the lesson starts on time.
Muslim families in New York speak Bengali, Urdu, Arabic, Albanian, French, Wolof, Turkish and many other languages at home, while most children are most comfortable in English. Every teacher teaches in clear English, with Arabic for the recitation, so your child understands every correction. Urdu is one of our teaching languages too — ask for it when you book.

Most New York families choose a 30-minute slot between 4pm and 8pm Eastern Time on weekdays, or a Saturday or Sunday morning. Classes run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so a slot before school or late in the evening, after a parent gets home from a long commute, is possible too. Your time stays fixed when the clocks change for daylight saving.
Plans start at $39 a month for 8 one-on-one classes of 30 minutes, rising to 20 classes a month. There is no registration fee, your first paid month has a 7-day money-back guarantee, and siblings get a 10% family discount. Start with 3 free classes — no card needed.
Classes are online, so they work the same anywhere in the USA. See the page for your city, or the main USA page for the full details.
