Basic lessons for learning Quran online
The basics course is the Noorani Qaida path taught step by step: recognising the 28 letters, hearing and copying each sound from its correct place in the mouth, adding the short vowels, then joining letters into words. Once words come easily, the student begins reading short surahs from the mushaf.
Nothing is assumed. If the student has never seen Arabic, the first lesson starts with the alphabet; if they know a little, the teacher finds the right starting point in the trial class.

Frequently asked questions
How long does it take a beginner to read the Quran?
With three classes a week, most children complete the Qaida in three to six months and adults often faster. Reading the Quran fluently with Tajweed takes longer and depends on practice.
I am an adult — is it too late to start?
Not at all. Many of our students are adults learning for the first time, and private classes make it comfortable to start from the alphabet.
Do I need to buy a Qaida book?
No. The teacher shares the Qaida on screen and sends the pages you need for practice.
Can my child and I learn together?
Each student has their own class so the teacher can work at the right pace for each, but classes can be scheduled back to back.
