Quran is the 4th and last sacred Holy Book of Almighty Allah. Quran is the Book of guidance for the whole of mankind. It was revealed on our beloved Prophet (S. A. W) who is the last Prophet of Allah Almighty. Quran is the Divine book towards which Muslims turn when there is any problem because the Quran has the solution to every problem and it is guidance for every aspect of life. Allah Almighty said about Quran:
“This is the book, whereof there is no doubt, guidance to those who are Al-Mutaqoon.”
Indeed, the Book of Allah is not a book like any other, it is the timeless Speech of Allah, not a created thing, and the study guide for life and death and what comes after. Therefore, it deserves a more careful study than anyone else’s speech. So, as a Muslim, we should Quran reading daily with better understanding so that we can earn Allah’s blessings in this life and the hereafter. It is obligatory for all Muslims including kids, adults, and children of any age.

Whenever a person reads a book he wants to understand it to gather knowledge and apply it in his daily life. Quran is the word of Allah Almighty and the most fortunate of people apply it in their lives by putting an earnest effort to understand it. The first revelation of the Holy Quran that is reveal to Prophet Muhammad (PB.UH) was ‘Read’ from. Which shows the importance of acquiring knowledge by reading.

Nowadays, people put on the Quran recitation through tape recorders and keep themselves busy with their usual chores. Naa-uz-bilah, it is an insult of Quran. So, forbid from doing so. Allah Almighty says in Quran:
“So when the Quran is recited then listen to it and pay attention so that you receive mercy.”
“Recite the Quran with measured recitation.”
In this verse, it is said to read the Quran in a slow measured tone so that it could soothe and strengthen the mind and soul of the reciter. The Tajweed also beautifies the recitation immensely. One should read the Quran completing the depth of each ayah. So that the meaning of each word would penetrate into his mind and reflect in his behavior so that the heart and soul will be filled with the lights of its pure guidance.

It also has the unique quality of including a vast number of messages in a few words, which means a single phrase or a sentence would have innumerable messages within it.
